Home My WebLink AboutReso 1984-11893 RESOLUTION NO. 11893 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA ORDERING THE PROPOSED "OTAY VALLEY ROAD REOR;ANIZATION" The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve as follows: WHEREAS, pursuant to the District Reorganization Act of 1965, commencing with Section 56000 of the Government Code, the City of Chula Vista has received an application from Fred L. Borst, chief proponent representing Walker Scott Properties/Palm, for the sUbject reorganization on May 1, 1984, and WHEREAS, the subject reorganization proposal was approved by LAFCO on December 3, 1984, and WHEREAS, the City Council on December 18, 1984 adopted Resolution No. 11880 initiating reorganization proceedings and setting a public hearing for January 8, 1985 to consider the proposed "Otay Valley Road Reorganization", and WHEREAS, this proposal involves annexation of approximately 240 acres of unincorporated territory to the City of Chula Vista, and concurrent detachments from the San Diego County Flood Control District-Zone 4 and the Montgomery Fire Protection District. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Chula Vista hereby finds and determines and orders the annexation of approximately 240 acres of unincorporated territory to the City of Chula Vista, and concurrent detachments from the San Diego County Flood Control District-zone 4 and the Montgomery Fire Protection District.
