RESOLUTION NO.
11886
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA
VISTA TO PROVIDE FOR AN ADDITIONAL JUNIOR/ASSISTANT
CIVIL ENGINEER POSITION AND DELETING A CONTRACT
ENGINEER IN THE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
authorize as follows:
WHEREAS, when the
included funds to provide

approved, it

WHEREAS, the workload in

the Land Development section has
justification for a permanent
position is made, and
WHEREAS,

it is proposed that a regular Junior/Assistant
position be authorized in lieu of the contract
WHEREAS, the City Engineer recaTlmends that the Council
approve the transfer of funds necessary to create a permanent
position for the Junior/Assistant Civil Engineer for the remainder
of FY 1984-85.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Chula Vista does hereby provide for an additional
Junior/Assistant Civil Engineer position in the Engineering
Department.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sum of $16,500 is hereby
authorized to be transferred from Account 100-1422-5201 to Salary
Account 100-1422-5101.
