RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA
VISTA ORDERING THE PROPOSED "SAN DIEGO COUNTRY CLUB
REORGANIZATION" INVOLVING ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF
CHULA VISTA AND CONCURRENT DETACHMENTS FROM THE SAN
DIEGO COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT-ZONE 3 AND COUNTY
SERVICE AREA NO. 62 (MONTGOMERY PARK)
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, pursuant to the District Reorganization Act of
1965, conunencing with Section 56000 of the Government Code, the
Ci ty of Chula Vista has received a petition fran the San Diego
Country Club proposing a reorganization involving 3.86 acres of
land, designated as the "San Diego Country Club Reorganization"
and consisting of the following changes of organization:
1. Annexation of territory to the City of Chula Vista as
described in Exhibit B and depicted on Exhibit A.
2. Detachment of territory described in Exhibit Band
depicted on Exhibit A fran the San Diego County Flood
Control District-Zone 3 and County Service Area No.
62 (Montgomery Park).
WHEREAS, the City has approved the boundaries of said
"San Diego Country Club Reorganization" as shown in said exhibits
and the Local Agency Formation Canmission, at their meeting of
December 3, 1984, adopted a resolution approving the proposed
reorganization and designated the City of Chula Vista as the
"conducting authority" and authorized the City Council to conduct
proceedings in full compliance with LAFCO's resolutaion and
without notice and hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Chula Vista hereby finds and determines and order as
provided in Government Code Section 56430 et seq. as follows:
1. The terri tory proposed for reorganization
(hereinafter referred to as the Territory) is as
described in Exhibit B attached hereto.
2. The boundaries of the territory do not conform to
lines of assessment and ownership.

3. The City Council does hereby approve the proposed
reorganization consisting of annexation of 3.86 acres
of unincorporated territory as described in Exhibit B
to the City of Chula Vista and detachment of said
territory described in Exhibit B fran the San Diego
County Flood Control District-Zone 3 and County
Service Area No. 62 (Montgomery Park).
4. Pursuant to Government Code Section 56430 et seq. and
the resolution of LAFCO, the City of Chula Vista does
hereby order said reorganization.
5. The City Clerk of the City of Chula Vista be, and she
is hereby authorized and directed to transmit a
certified copy of this resolu tion in acccordance wi th
Section 56430 et seq. of the Government Code.
6. The City Council hereby declares that Environmental
Impact Report (EIR-84-7) for the proposed project has
heretofore been certified by the Council at its
meeting of September 11, 1984.

Those portions of Lots 6, 11, and 14, in Quarter Section 120, of
Rancho De La Nacion, in the County of San Diego, State of California,
according to Map thereof No. 505, filed in the Office of the County
Recorder of San Diego County March 13, 1888, being more particularly
described as follows:
Commencing at the southeast corner of Lot 14;
1. Thence northerly along the east line of said Lot 14 North 18 ° 56' 00"
West, a distance of 200.00 feet to the true point of beginning;
2. Thence continuing northerly along the east line of said Lots 14,
11, and 6, North 18°56'00" West, a distance of 646.00 feet;
3. Thence leaving said east line South 71°04'00" West a distance of
100.00 feet;
4. Thence South 07°27'13" Hest a distance of 721.13 feet;
5. Thence North 71°04'00" East a distance of 420.49 feet to the true
point of beginning.

RESOLUTION OF THE SAN DIEGO LOCAL AGENCY
FORMATION COMMISSION APPROVING A PROPOSED
REORGANIZATION INCLUDING ANNEXATION TO THE
CITY OF CHULA VISTA
AND DETACHMENT FROM THE
SAN DIEGO COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT - ZONE 3 AND
COUNTY SERVICE AREA NO. 62 (MONTGOMERY PARK)
"San Diego Country Club Reorganization"
On motion of Commissioner Mahr, seconded by Commissioner
Adams, the following resolution is adopted:
\'iHEREAS, a petition was submitted to this Commission for
the reorganization of territory including annexation to the
Ci ty of Chula Vista and detachment from the San Diego County
Flood Control Dis.trict - Zone 3 and County Service Area No. 62
(Montgomery Park), which petition was certified sufficient by
the Executive Officer on November 13, 1984; and
,'iHEREAS, the territory proposed for reorganization is as
described in the application on file with the Local Agency Formation
Commission; and
;~i¡EREAS, all owners of land ha'le consented in writing to
the reorganization; and
HHEREAS, the Executive Officer of the Commission has filed
her report on said reorganization, which report was received
and considered by the Commission;
NOI'i THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that this Commission hereby
finds, determines, and orders as follows:
(1) The Commission adopts, pursuant to Section 15Ø91 of
the State CEQA Guidelines, the mitigation measures included
in the resolution of approval of the City of Chula Vista for
the impacts identified, and certifies that the mitigation is
within the jurisdiction of the City and not LAFCO because the
affected resources and services will be within the city limits
upon annexation.
(2) The Commission certifies, pursuant to Government Code
Section 54774.3r that this proposal would have no effect on
any agricultural preserves as defined in Government Code Section
51201(a) and would not result in the conversion of prime agricultural
la~d to nonagricultural use.

(3) The Commission hereby approves the reorganization
with modified boundaries, as described in Exhibit "A" attached
hereto.
(4) The boundaries of the territory as described in Exhibit
"A" are definite and certain.
(5) The boundaries of the territory do not conform to
lines of assessment and ownership.
(6) The territory includes 3.86 acres and is uninhabited.
(7) The territory proposed to be
designated the "San Diego Country Club
of Chula Vista).

(8) The Commission hereby designates the City of Chula
Vista as the conducting authority and authorizes the City Council
to initiate proceêdings in compliance with this resolution without
notice and hearing.
(9) The Executive Officer of this Commission is directed
