RESOLUTION NO. 11874
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA
VISTA APPROVING FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT
FOR TRAFFIC ENGINEERING CONSULTANT SERVICES BETWEEN
THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA AND GARY R. HANSEN AND EASTLAKE
DEVELOPMENT COMPANY FOR ENGINEERING CONSULTANT SERVICES
FOR THE EASTLAKE I PLANNED COMMUNITY, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID AMENDMENT
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, the City of Chula Vista has previously entered
into a contract for traffic engineering consulting services with
Gary R. Hansen and EastLake Development Company with regard to the
EastLake I Planned Community, and
WHEREAS, the term of this contract expires on December
31, 1984, and
WHEREAS, the preliminary planning for the traffic engi-
neering plan has taken longer than originally anticipated, and
WHEREAS, it is now estimated that the planning services
will be necessary through April 1, 1985.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Chula Vista does hereby approve the First Amendment to
the Agreement between the City of Chula Vista and Gary R. Hansen
and EastLake Development Company extending the term through April
1, 1985.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of the City of
Chula Vista be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to
execute said Amendment for and on behalf of the City of Chula
Vista.
