RESOLUTION NO. 11871
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA
VISTA APPROVING THIRD AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT FOR
PLANNING SERVICES BETWEEN THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA AND
PAUL MANGANELLI AND THE GERSTEN COMPANIES FOR PLANNING
AND EVALUATION AND PROCESSING WORK FOR EL RANCHO DEL REY
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID AMENDMENT
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, the City of Chula Vista has previously entered
into a contract for planning services with Paul Manganelli and the
Gersten Companies with regard to the El Rancho del Rey General
Plan Amendment, and
WHEREAS, the term of this contract was to expire on
December 31, 1984, and
WHEREAS, the preliminary planning for the El Rancho del
Rey Specific Plan submittal to the City has taken longer than
originally anticipated, and
WHEREAS, it is now estimated that the planning services
will be necessary through April 1, 1985.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Chula Vista does hereby approve the Third Amendment to
Agreement for Planning Services with Paul Manganelli and the
Gersten Companies extending the term through April 1, 1985.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of the City of
Chula Vista be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to
execute said Amendment for and on behalf of the City of Chula
Vista.
