RESOLUTION NO. 11866
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA
VISTA ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR
PLACEMENT OF WOOD FLOOR AT PARKWAY COMMUNITY CENTER
IN THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, the following two bids were received and
opened at 2:00 pm on the 28th day of November ,19M-,
in Coni. Rooms 2 and 3 of the Public Services Bldq. of the City of Chula
vista for placement of wood floor at Parkway Communi tv Center
Don Ervin, Escondido
$28,971.00
Miller Floors, San Diego
35,955.00
and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that said contract be
awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, Don Ervin
who has assured the City that he is a licensed contractor
in the State of California and can produce an acceptable perfor-
mance bond.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Chula Vista does hereby accept said two bids, and
does hereby award the contract for said wood floor placement at
Parkway Community Centerto Dòn Ervin in the amount of $28,971:00
to be completed in accordance with the
specifications as approved by the City Engineer
of the City of Chula Vista.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor
of the City of Chula Vista be, and he is hereby authorized and
directed to execute said contract for and on behalf of the City of
Chula Vista.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sum of $32,000 is hereby
authorized to be expended from Account No. 600-6000-RC26-Parkway
Community Center Gym Floor Repair.
