RESOLUTION NO. 11769
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA
VISTA EXTENDING AN AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
WITH GARRY WILLIAMS
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Chula Vista has
heretofore on November 8, 1983 by Resolution No. 11449, approved
an agreement between Garry Williams and the City for an Open Space
Coordinator to oversee the ten open space districts during FY
1983-84, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Williams has performed his duties and
responsibilities satisfactorily this past contract period, and
WHEREAS, on
No. 11681 extended
August 30, 1984, and
June 26, 1984, the City Council by Resolution
the current agreement with Mr. Williams to
WHEREAS, a determination has not been made at this time
regarding a salary adjustment for all City employees and the
Director of Parks and Recreation has recanmended that the
agreement with Mr. Williams be extended from August 30, 1984 to
October 2, 1984, and
WHEREAS, upon approval of all City employee salary
negotiations, a renewed agreement will be recommended to Council
at a rate reflecting the agreed upon salary adjustment with the
increase and renewed agreement to be retroactive to the first pay
period in July, 1984.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Chula Vista that that certain agreement between the City
of Chula Vista and Garry Williams be, and the same is hereby
extended from August 30, 1984 to October 2, 1984.
