HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1984-11756 RESOLUTION NO. 11756 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHUIA VISTA APPROVING EXTENSION OF THE PARAMEDICS SERVICE CONTRACT AND RATE SCHEDULE AMENDMENT FOR MED TRANS (DBA HARTSON'S AMBULANCE SERVICE) The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve as follows: WHEREAS, the present paramedic service contract with Med Trans (DBA Hartson's Ambulance Service) is due to terminate on September 8, 1984, and WHEREAS, there is presently legislation being proposed which could substantially impact the process through which we choose a provider of this service (AB 3153), and WHEREAS, it would be staff's intention to recommend that the contracts for paramedics and EMT medical services run concurrently if the proposed legislation passes, and WHEREAS, there should be some result with regard to this legislation prior to February 8, 1985. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby approve the extension of the paramedic service contract with Med Trans (DBA Hartson's Ambulance Service) to February 8, 1985.
