RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA
VISTA EXTENDING THE TIME FOR ADJUSTING WAGES AND
BENEFITS FOR PART-TIME HOURLY, UNCLASSIFIED, MIDDLE
MANAGERS, EXECUTIVE MANAGERS, CITY CLERK, CITY ATTORNEY,
CITY MANAGER, AND CONTRACTUAL EMPLOYEES TO OCTOBER 9,
1984
'rhe City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 11750, adopted by the City
Council on August 28, 1984, extended the time to adjust wages and
fringe benefits for all employees to October 2, 1984, and
WHEREAS, recommendations have been reached relative to
benefit increases, however, it is uncertain that all members of
the Council will be present at the October 2, 1984 meeting, and
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the City Council that all
adjustments for City employees be retroactive to July 6, 1984 so
that employees will not be penalized for any extensions in
negotiations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Chula Vista does hereby extend the time for adjusting
wages and benefits for part-time hourly, unclassified, middle
managers, executive managers, City Clerk, City Attorney, City
Manager, the Open Space Coordinator (Garry Williams) and the
Housing Rehabilitation Consultant (Anthony Ciotti) to October 9,
1984 and said adjustments shall be retroactive to the first pay
period in fiscal year 1984-85.
