In the absence of Chairman Cox, Chairman pro Tempore Moore presided over the
meeting.

l. RESOLUTION 504 APPROVING DES IGN FOR FUDDRUCKERS RESTAURANT
(Community Development Director)
The appl icant has submitted plans for the design of Fuddrucker's Restaurant
located on Lot 6 of the Town Centre Focus Area. E IR-79-5 was found to
adequately discuss the effects of the proposed project. The Design Review
Committee recommended approval of the project subject to several conditions.
Mr. Jay Holl and, representing Fuddruckers, submitted a rendering of the
proposed establ ishment noting the architecture, the outdoor eating area and
the channel neon lighting for the sign.
RESOLUTION OFFERED BY MEMBER McCANDLISS, the reading of the text was waived by
unanimous consent, passed and approved unanimously.
2. REPORT BAYFRONT IMPLEMENTATION PLAN
a. RESOLUTION 505 AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTI VE DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT WITH NORBERT H. DALL AND ASSOC IATES FOR AN
Al>IOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $17,500 AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS
THEREFOR (Community Development Director)
The Redevelopment Agency at the meeting of April 19 requested a report on the
status of the implementation program to be presented to the Coastal Commission
for consideration.
The report submi tted by the Di rector of Communi ty Development updates the
status of the impl ementati on pro gram and recommends consideration of the
contract with Norbert H. Dall and Associates.
RESOLUTION OFFERED BY MEMBER MALCOLM, the reading of the text was waived by
unanimous consent, passed and approved unanimously.

a. Executive Director Goss requested a Closed Sess i on for purposes of
1 itigation.
MSUC (Scott/Malcolm) to recess to Closed Session for litigation.
4. CHAIRMAN'S COMMENTS (None)
5. MEMBERS' COMMENTS
a. Member Malcolm referenced the Sweetwater Flood Contro 1 Project and
Caltrans' requirement. The Coastal Commission went ahead with Caltrans'
recommendation and continuance of the City's Local Coastal Plan (LCP) and
they di d not requ ire any more reconsti tuted marsh 1 and on the "D" Street
fill.
The Agency recessed to Closed Session at 3:30 p.m.
ADJOURNMENT AT 3:50 p.m. to the mid-month meeting of Thursday, May 17, 1934,
at 4 p.m.
