ROLL CALL: Members present constituted a quorum. 1. DECLARATION OF EXCUSEDJUNEXCUSED ABSENTEEISM: MSC Gingerich/O'Neill (4-0) to excuse the absences of Chëirman Compton and Board Members Fabrick and T riplelle. 2. APPROVAL OF MINlJTES: MSUC GingerichIHar1er (4-0) to approve the minutes of February 8, 1999. 3. NEW BUSINESS: A Alternative Methods Consideration: Request for Standpipes in Structures 4 Stories or More But Less Than 150 Feet in Height at 1300 Block of Santa Cora Avenue, Chula Vista. Assistant Director RefT1J introduced the item and referred to Rre Marshal Perry for the Staff Report. Mr. Perry stated that the applicant is requesting a permit for standpipes in structures four (4) stories or more but less than 150 feet in height at 1300 Block of Santa Cora Avenue. Mr. Perry stated that this item will be adopted when the Rre Department adopts the 1997 Uniform Rre Code in July, and therefore recommended that the Board of Appeals grant the request of the applicant MSUC Harter/Gingerich (4-0) to accept Staffs recommendation and approve the request for standpipes in structures four (4) stories or more but less than 150 feet in height Board of Appeals & Advisors -2- March 8. 1999 4. COMMUNICATIONS (pUBLIC REMARKSiWRITŒN CORRESPONDENCE): None 7. ADJOURNMENT: Viœ-Ch<irman O'Neill adjourned the meeting at 5:35 p.m. to the next regular meeting scheduled for April 12, 1999.
