WORKSHOP FOR CITY BOARD &
COMMISSION MEMBERS
Join us for a fun and informative workshop designed to assist you
as a member of a City advisory body.
WHEN: Wednesday, February 25 or Thursday, February 26, 6 - 8:30 p.m.
WHERE: Council Chambers

LEARN ABOUT:
• Operating Guidelines, such as meeting attendance requirements
• Meeting Protocol: the basics of parliamentazy procedures, your responsibilities and
legal requirements with regazd to the Ralph M. Brown Act (open meeting law) and
Political Reform Act (conflicts of interest)
• 'fhe City's Code of Ethics, which applies to all Board and Commission members
• Statements of Economic Interest: If you are a Form 700 filer, bang your forms, get
all your questions answered and turn in your annual filing - a one-stop shop! (If you
are not a filer, the presentation will still contain information that applies to you.)
City Clerk Susan Bigelow, Assistant City Attorney Sharon Mazshall, and FPPC representative
Dixie Howard will facilitate the workshop.
