LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE QUESTIONS FROM THE RESOURCE CONSER V A TION

1. Have you considered utilizing small areas in the western portion of the City, such as the
triangle at Naples and Moss, as recreation areas?
2, Dust control on side of roads and medians where there is no landscaping such as the Fenton
property along Main Street.
3, What efforts are being made to change the kinds of tools being used that generate carbon
dioxide? Dust and fungi should be a concern for workers' health,

5, What biological methods are being used in the City? (David, this question is verbatim of
what Teresa Thomas said, so I don't know what she means.)
6, What is being done to remove invasive non-native exotics intruding on habitats?
7, Are you using plant life for graffiti control?
8, What is being done about vegetation for birds that are moving to the western side of the
City?
9, What is the scheduled for clearing out overgrown channels such as the channel at Palomar
and Second?
1o, There is a problem with home landscape growing onto the streets where there are no
sidewalks, These are dangerous walkways,
