RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CHULA VISTA APPROVING A SALARY EQUITY
ADJUSTMENT FOR THE CITY ATTORNEY, CITY CLERK
AND CITY MANAGER AND DIRECTING STAFF TO ADJUST
THE FISCAL YEAR 2005 PROPOSED BUDGET

WHEREAS, the City recently surveyed the current salaries of the City Attorney, City
Clerk and City Manager and found they have fallen below their peer agencies throughout the
State and should be adjusted at this time to bring them up to the recommended amount; and
WHEREAS, the following salary equity adjustments are approved:

WHEREAS, in addition, the City Manager's car allowance was increased by $250, £Tom
$750 to $1000 per month.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Council of the City of Chuia Vista does
hereby approve a salary equity adjustment for the City Attorney, City Clerk and City Manager
and direct staff to adjust the fiscal year 2005 proposed budget accordingly.
