Board of Ethics Subcommittee Interview Panel Meeting
In -Person Public Comments: Join us for the Interview Panel meeting at the time and location specified
on this agenda to make your comments. Each person will be allotted three minutes to address the
Board, unless otherwise adjusted by the presiding officer.

3. ACTION ITEMS
Action items are considered individually by the Interview Panel and are expected to elicit
discussion and deliberation.
3.1 Approval of Meeting Minutes
Recommended Action:
Subcommittee to approve the minutes dated February 25, 2026.
3.2 Conduct Interview and Select Attorneys to Serve on the City of Chula Vista's Campaign
Contribution Ordinance Enforcement Authority Panel
Continue the interview process from the February 25, 2026, meeting with interviewing of
the remaining applicant, and select no less than three applicants to serve on a panel of
attorneys who will act as the enforcement authority of the City of Chula Vista's Campaign
Contribution Ordinance, as set forth in Chula Vista Municipal Code section 2.52.
The following applicant will be interviewed: Leslie Devaney of Devaney Pate Morris &
Cameron.
3.3 Authorize the City Attorney's Office to Complete the Minutes for the March 4, 2026,
Meeting
Authorize the City Attorney's Office to complete the March 4, 2026, Board of Ethics
Interview Panel Meeting minutes without further action from the Interview Panel.
