Recommended Action: Members approve the recommended action on the below consent calendar items. 3.1 Approval of Meeting Minutes Recommended Action: Approve the minutes dated- November 19, 2025. Pages II 3.2 Written Communications 6 Communication from Trustee Glinksy requesting an excused absence from the November 19, 2025 Board of Library Trustees meeting. Recommended Action: Excuse the absence. 4. PUBLIC COMMENTS The public may address the Board on any subject matter within the Board's jurisdiction that is not listed as an item on the agenda. State law generally prohibits the Board from discussing or taking action on any issue not included on the agenda. PUBLIC COMMENTS There were no public comments. 4. PRESENTATIONS 4.1 Presentation by Library Director Whatley on Library Statistics and Activities for 2025 Trustees heard the presentation. 5. ACTION ITEMS 5.1 Approval of Meeting Minutes 1 Page 4 of 7 January 21, 2026 Agenda City of Chula Vista Board of Library Trustees Resident Robert commented on missing pages for the printed meeting agenda in the public review binder. Approve the minutes dated: October 15, 2025. Moved by Trustee Ellison Seconded by Trustee Holleron The motion was carried by the following vote: Yes (3): Trustee Ellison, Vice Chair Hol€eron, and Chair Beyers Result: Carried (3 to 0) 6. STAFF COMMENTS Staff provided updates on library renovations, the Millenia Library, Zip Books, and LinkPlus. 7. CHAIR'S COMMENTS Chair Beyers inquired about opportunities to advocate for the library and praised the Zip Books service. 8. TRUSTEES' COMMENTS Vice Chair Holleron inquired about the budget process. 9.
