CALL TO ORDER A regular meeting of the Board of Library Trustees of the City of Chula Vista was called to order at 4:00 p.m. 2. ROLL CALL Secretary Magbanua called the roll. 3. CONSENT CALENDAR (Items 3.1 through 3.2) Trustees approve the recommended action on the below consent calendar items. Moved by Trustee Ellison Seconded by Trustee Moffat The motion was carried by the following vote: Yes (3): Member Beyers, Member Ellison, and Chair Moffat 1 Result: Carried (3 to 0) 3.1 Approval of Meeting Minutes Approve the minutes dated: August 20, 2025 3.2 Written Communications Consider request for excused absence from Trustees Glinksy and Moffat from the August 20, 2025 Board of Library Trustees meeting. 4. PUBLIC COMMENTS There were no public comments. 5. PRESENTATIONS 5.1 Presentation by Library Director Whatley, Principal Librarians Magbanua and Ysla on the Millenia Library Trustees heard the presentation. 6. STAFF COMMENTS Principal Librarian Magbanua commented about the annual activities report and upcoming meeting room policy draft. 7. CHAIR'S COMMENTS Chair Beyers requested that the library budget per capita and collection development policy be included in a future agenda. 8. TRUSTEES' COMMENTS There were no trustees' comments. 2 9.
