Board of Ethics Interview Panel Meeting
In -Person Public Comments: Join us for the Interview Panel meeting at the time and location specified
on this agenda to make your comments. Each person will be allotted three minutes to address the
Commission.
Electronic Public Comments: At www.chulavistaca.gov/boardmeetinas, locate this meeting and click
on the comment bubble icon. Select the item and click on "Leave Comment." The deadline to submit e -
comments or any comments emailed to BOE(a.chulavistaca.gov will be noon on the day of the
meeting.

3. ACTION ITEMS
Action items are considered individually by the Interview Panel and are expected to elicit
discussion and deliberation.
3.1 Interviews and Consideration of Recommendation to the City Council for Appointment to
Fill One Board of Ethics Vacancy
Recommended Action:
Determine the interview questions and any necessary interview or appointment
procedures, conduct interviews of the applicants for the vacant position, and, as
appropriate, recommend one applicant to the City Council for appointment to fill the
vacancy.
The following applicants will be interviewed: Mia Gonzalez, Gustavo Padilla, and Renae
Wallace.
3.2 Authorize the City Attorney's Office to Complete the Minutes for the October 13, 2025,
Meeting
Recommended Action:
Authorize the City Attorney's Office to complete the October 13, 2025, Board of Ethics
Interview Panel Meeting minutes without further action from the Interview Panel.
