CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. 2. ROLL CALL Commission Secretary Covarrubio called the roll. 3. PUBLIC COMMENTS Robert spoke on Hilltop Park construction. 4. ACTION ITEMS 4.1 Approval of Meeting Minutes Moved by Commissioner Englehart Seconded by Chair Calvo To approve meeting minutes date July 17, 2025. The motion was carried by the following vote: 2025-07-17 Parks and Recreation Commission Regular Meeting Minutes Page 2 Yes (5): Commissioner Englehart, Commissioner Fawver, Commissioner Rodriguez, Commissioner Zarem, and Chair Calvo RESULT: Carried (5 to 0) 4.2 Written Communications Robert spoke on the request for excused absences. Moved by Chair Calvo Seconded by Commissioner Englehart To approve excused absences for Commissioner Enriquez from the July 17, 2025, meeting, Commissioner Padilla from the May 15, 2025, meeting, and Commissioner Zarem from the December 12, 2024, meeting. The motion was carried by the following vote: Yes (5): Commissioner Englehart, Commissioner Fawver, Commissioner Rodriguez, Commissioner Zarem, and Chair Calvo RESULT: Carried (5 to 0) 4.3 Discussion Regarding Oxford and Fourth Park Planning Director Carson gave a presentation. 4.4 Updates on Rohr Park Director Carson gave a presentation. 4.5 Updates on Recreation Program Master Plan Director Carson gave a presentation. 5. STAFF COMMENTS 5.1 Park Updates Director Carson provided City updates 6. CHAIR COMMENTS Chair Calvo provided comments and community updates. 7. COMMISSIONERS' COMMENTS There were none 8.
