development, which promises to become a true gathering place
for our community. This isnt just about new buildings or
infrastructure; its about creating a vibrant, inclusive space where
community connections can grow. By investing in this
development, we are building a hub that will bring people of all
ages togethera place where families, friends, and neighbors can
gather, shop, play, and create lasting memories.
The new Town Center will foster local businesses, provide safe
and welcoming spaces for recreation and events, and promote a
sense of pride and unity in our community.
I urge you to support this project as it represents not only
economic growth but also an invaluable opportunity to

Yimby Democrats of San Diego County On behalf of the YIMBY Democrats of San Diego County, we
submit our strong support for rezoning the Northwestern
Quadrant of Otay Ranch Town Center from Commercial to Mixed-
Use Residential. By facilitating housing near key transit and
employment hubs, this proposal embodies our commitment to
sustainable, inclusive growth across San Diego County.
Increased housing options here support market demand, enable
better use of urban space, and help reverse segregations legacy
in our region. This rezone will expand accessible housing,
advance economic opportunity, and strengthen the communitys
vitality and resilience. As the region's cost of living becomes
unattainable, it is necessary to increase San Diego's housing
supply.

noticed there are several empty store spaces in the area. This
project can bring more shoppers to the area.
