AT&T claims a gap in service. None exists. Health effects can and have been devastating to some people and open up the City to liability. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that electromagnetic/RF transmissions be limited in the proximity of children, and there are not only children but also a preschool in our neighborhood, less than 350 feet from the proposed towers locaƟon. A 45 foot freestanding wireless telecommunications facility at 430 Second Avenue is also inconsistent with the character of a quiet residential neighborhood. The tower can and should be placed elsewhere, in a business area. Do not give in to corporate demands when alternatives exist to impacting the health and welfare of the people you serve. Please do what is right for the people of this City, their health and welfare. I was not able to attend the previous meeting. the original notification shows an arrow on the map that is not the actual location of the tower so the notice was misleading. i oppose the tower being placed in a residential neighborhood. The facts relied upon by big corporations are outdated 1992 and 1998 on safety of the cell towers. This will lower my property value by about 20% and deter renters being in close proximity to tower due to safety concerns. There are numerous cases across the country of health issues arising from close proximity to cell towers. Some people have electro hypersensitivity also called microwave or radiation sickness. The bedrooms in the near house are on a hill and on direct line with said cell tower placement. Cell towers do not turn off at night. Are we going to wait til health issues develope ? this is a residential neighborhood not industrial. There is no lapse in coverage for this area. the cell tower is not needed. There are concerns that the cell tower leads to other electronic radio cell devices being placed. one such concern is privacy. I ask you consider the obtrusiveness the future dangers and perhaps regulations regarding this cell tower and deny the approval of placement of the tower at 430 second Ave. Oppose
