Shaw. seconded by Mr. Lyons, the street BUP- erintendent was directed to extend the pipe culverts wherever it was necessary as a result of making tills for sidewalks, where the slope of the fill extends over on to private land. SIDEWALKS ON THIRD J.VENUEI City engineer reported that he had had a oonfer- eme wi th the 'l'reasurer of the San Diego and þ.rhona R.R., end that official had stated that his compaQf waa ready to lay sidewalks along ita trontage on '!hir6 J.venue; that the deed for ten teet of land along this frontage will be forwarded at an early date.
