The Board met pursuant to adjournment, in the Council Chamber of the City Hall, with President Peters in the ohair. Order called at 7130 p.m. Present I Trustees Peters, Bent, ~ons, Wentworth. Trustee Shaw absent. ADVERTISINGI Proof of the full page advertisement that is to appear in the Annual Addition of the San Diego Union, this year, was presented and read. The proof was corrected by adding the word "Union" to the part pertaining to the High School, and adding the word "grean" to the part pertaining to growing feed for paultry. AI corrected, the proof wal accepted and ordered, upon motion by )fr. Wentworth, lecoDded by JIr. Lyons, which carried. He was inltructed to leave the sidell'alk out Where it croslel full alleys, but to have it continaed through where it cro..es half alleys; the Itreet depattment to do the grading in all luch oasea. RESOLUTION No. 1061 Resolution No. 108, directing the city engineer to prepare plans, Ipecifications, drawings aDd typical cross lectionl of sidell'alk work now under consideration, _s offered by JIr. ~0118. The resolution was read, and upon motion by Mr. Bent, seconded by Mr. Wentworth, it was paned adopted aDd approved, AI read, by the following vote, to ""If it I AmI Trusteel Bent, Peters, ~ons, Wentowrth. RESOLUTION No. 109, Resolution No. 109, declaring the paving of !rational Avenue completed aDd showing a laving of $1037.86 lurplul in the 1923 National Avenue Paving Bond Fund; the relolution directs that thil saving of $1037.86 be tr&118ferred from the 1923 National Avenue Paving Bond J'und, to the General J'und and wu offered by JIr. ~onl. DYER SIDEWALK, A letter trom R. M. Pray, protesting against the city pçing for one-half of the sidewalk and curb laid in front of the Dyer Property on Third Avenae, in consideration of. the Dyer's deeding a ten foot strip of land to the city on whioh the sidewalk il laid, wal read. It was ordered filed upon motion by Jlr. ~ent, leconded by JIr. Wentworth, which oarried. RBII>VING TRUS FROM THE STRUT, Albert A. nagger and Joseph Stein, each alked permilsion to remove the palm trees fronting their property on H Street, they to be replaced with black acaoia. Requelt granted upon motion by )fr. ~ons, leconded by )fr. Wentworth, each owner to lign the ulual agreement. ... STBEETS WEST OF NATIONAL AVENmh In the matter of the city obtaining deedl to all the streets l¥ing _at of National Avenae, from the Sen Diego Land and "own COIIIp& F, the city attorney reported that he had taken up the queltion with )fr. !IIitua, Of the oompa~, and had been informed that it had been referred to the attorney for the oo~, and no doubt, deedl would be coming through shortly. City attorney adviled that in 8Uoh oa88s, the sid_lk would have tÐ I!IID in, unlesl the owner could mow concluaive evidence that a Itreat would be opened through, giving a date, for such opening. In no oa88 could the sidell'alk be omitted on the Itatement of tha owner that he intends to open a Itreet in the future. PROPBRTY LID AT THIBD .Avmrn:B A1ID D STREET, The old matter of the correct property line at Third Avenue and D Street _, again brought up by the city engineer. in the disouslion, it developed that there is a dilcrepanoy of five feet at that point. If the monuments are followed as markera for the line, it will make a straight street through to the north city limits; the monument I at the point in question, end the one at the nol,'th city lim! t, together with the monuments louth of D and Third Avenue, are all in alignment. 'l'here are some other markers, iron pil18, which would make a curve in the street of five feet; Ward's lubdivilion wall laid out using these pins as markerl, while Sea Vale Addi tion WU laid out using the mon_ents. It was decided to accept the mon_ent at the interlection of Third Avenue and D Street al the correct Itreet line, upon motion by Mr. Wentworth, leoonded by Mr. ~Ol18, whioh carried by the following vote, to-wit, AYES, Trultees Wentwroth, Peters, Bent, ~ons.
