CALIFORNIA, HELD APRIL 21, 1925.
The Board met pursuant to adjournment, in the Council Chmber or the City Hall,
On the above date, with President Peters in the chair. Meeting called to order
at 7130 p.m. Present I Trustees Peters, Lyons, Wentworth.
DEL J4AR AVENUE. BETWEEN I AND JI J. D. Ccdington and W' D. Krart, complained
about the condition of Del RarAvenue, between I and J Street, and asked for re-
pairs, including regrading and resurracing. The discussion brought out the fact
that nothing has been done on this particular street since 1917. The matter wae
rererred to the Street Committee.
TIDE LANDSI A telegram rrom State Senator E. P. Sample, asking for the limits
of the city, in connection with obtaining the tide lands rronting the city, was
read. From the telegram it appears that Senator Sample 18 getting action On
the request or the city ror its tide lande.
ORDINANCE NO. 125, Upon motion by Yr. Lyon8, seconded by Yr. Wentworth,
which carried, Ordinance No. 125 was placed On its fir8t reading. Thi8 i8 an
ordinance changing the name or Alvarado Ccurt to Alvarado Street.
OVERDUE ACCOUNTS DUE THE CITY, The clerk read a li8t of names of property
owner8 who ar'e indebted to the city for gravel and top 8011, some of them being
due for over a year past. He asked in8tructions with reference to collecting
them. Rererred to the city attorney for collection.
J.DDITIONAL STREET LIGHT. The clerk was instructed to place an order with the
San Diego Gae and Electric Company ror an additional 8treet light at the inter8ec-
tion of F Street and Sixth Avenue, provided there is nO expen8e connectied with
the installation, upon motion by Yr. Lyons, seconded by Yr. Wentworth, which car-
ried.
BILLS PAID, Upon motion by Yr. Wentworth, seconded by Mr. Lyons, which car-
ried, the following bills, as examined by the rinance committee, were ordered pait.
