SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES, CHULA VISTA, CALIFORNU, HELD OCTOBER
OCTOBER 19, 1925.
The Board met pursuant to call of the President, in the City Hall, on the
above date, with President Peters in the chair. Keeting called to order at '130
P.M. Presentl Trustees Peters, Shaw, Lyons, Wentworth, Bent.
LEGAL ASSISTANCE FOR TRAFFIC OFFICERS 1 ~e matter of furnishing legal assistance
to the city attorney, in defending Traffio Officers Smith and Kelly, against whom
charges have been made, alleging that they assaulted a man, after he had been ar-
rested. After discussion, Mr. Lyons offered Resolution 1'10.133, which was read,
and is as followsl

RESOLUTION 133.
Resolution bf the Board of Trustees of the City of Chula Vists, California, employ-
ing the firm of 'fright Ii: YcKee, as As81stant City Attorney of the said City of
Chula Vhta, for one month from and after the date of this resolution.
RESOLVEDI By the Board of Trustees of the City of Chula Vista, Cali-
fornia, that the firm of 'fright Ii: McKee, be and the same ere hereby employed as
Assistant City Attorney, for the City of Chula Vista, California, for the period
ot one month, commencing on the 19th day of October, 1925, and their compensation
to be the reasonable value of their servic88,
Upon motion by lfi'. Lyons, seconded by Mr.Wentowrth, the resolution was
passed, adopted and approved by thetollowing vote, to-wi tl AYESI Trustees Lyons,
