The Board met, pursuant to adjournment, in the Council Chamber of the City Hall, on the above date, with President Peters in the chair. Meeting called to order at 4:30 p.m. Present: All members of the Board, vis: Trustees Peters, Scott, Lyons, Wentworth, Barnes, S~~ SYSTEM. OPTION ON LAND FOR: ~~. Wentworth offered Resolution No. 146, which is a resolution accepting an easement, or right of way, for the sewer main outfall, through the land owned by Traoy Brick and Art Stone Company. The resolution was read, and was passed, adopted and approved by the following vote, to-wit: AYES: Trustees Scott, Wentworth, Barnes, Peters, Lyons. NOES: None. ABSENT: None. PARKS. OPTIONS ON'LAND FOR: ~. Lyons, seconded by 1~, Barnes, moved that the options presented, for the purchase of lands for sewer outfall and park purposes, by H. B. Lands, Inc., Carolina A. Copelend, Angie J, Powers, George D. Powers, and San Diego Trust and Savings Bank, be accepted and approved. The motion carried by the following vote, to-wit: AYES: Trustees Lyons, Wentworth, Barnes, Peters, Scott. NOES: None. ABSENT: None. PARKS. RESOLUTION No. 147: ~. Wentworth offered Resolution No. 147, which is a .j: resolution Resolving and determining that the public interest and necessity demand the ¿~~o acquisition of Lots 21,22,27, and 28, in i-Section 138, in this city, for park purposes. The resolution was read, and was ~ssed, adopted and approved, as read, by the following vote, to-wit: AYES: Trustees Wentworth, Barnes, Peters, Scott, Lyons. NOES: None. ABSENT: None. PARKS. RESOLUTION No. 148: Mr. Scott offered Resolution No. 148, which is a reso- lution resolving and determining that the public interest and necessity demand the acquisition of the East Half Of Lots 15 and 15, in t-Seotion 150, in this city, for a public park, to be improved so as to contain ball filed, tennis courts, basket ball courts, and any other structures making it into an athletic field for use of the public. The resolution was read, and was passed, adopted and approved, as read, by the foll~ling vote, to-wit: AYES: Trustees Scott, Lyons, Wentworth, 3arnes, Peters. NOES: None. MAP OF LANDS FOR: The oi ty engineer presented and filed with the board, a map showing an easement through the property of the Traoy Brick and Art Stone Company, for a sewer line, and a strip of land to be.purOhased from the H. & B. Lands, Inc., for use on which to construct a sewer treatment plant and outfall sewer line to San Diego Bay. Upon motion by ~~. Scott, seconded by~. Wentworth, the map was approved and accepted, by the following vote, to-wit: AYES: Trustees Scott, Lyons, \Ventworth, Barnes, Peters. NOES: None. ABSENT: None. S~VER SYSTEAI. RESOLUTION No. 149: Mr. Wentworth offered Resolution No. 149, which is a resolution resolving and determining that the public interest and necessity demand the acquisition, construction and completion of a municipal sewer system in this city. The resolution was read, and was passed, adopted and approved, as read, by the following vote, to-wit: AYES: Trustees Wentworth, 3arnes, Peters, Scott, Lyons. NOES: None. ABSENT: None. SEVIER SYSTEM. ESTIMATE OF COST: The esti"1S.te of cost for the construction of a sewer system, including treatment plant, submitted by the BurnS-MoDo~~~;~~l~~~ngineering Company of Los Angeles, shewing a cost of $41,500.00 for the Sewer syffinf" Aa~ed to this amount, is $1600.00 for the purchase of land for the outfall and treatment plant, making a total cost of $43,500.00 for the sewer system. This esti~te of $43,300.00 was approved and accepted upon motion by ~~. Lyons, seconded by Mr. Wentworth, which carried by the fol- lowing vote, to wit: ¡lYES: Trustees Lyons, Wentworth, Barnes, Peters, Scott. NOES: Non. ABSENT: None.
