The Board met in regular session, in the Council Chamber of the City Hall, on the above date, with President Peters in the ohair. Keeting called to order at 7100 p.m. Present I Trustees Peters, Scott, Wentworth, Barnes. !lrustee Lyons absent, READING OF KINUTESI The minutes of the last regular meeting of June 7,1927, and adjourned meetings of June 14 and 28, 1927, were read, and approved as read. ~ CABARET I Mr. Bmanuel, formerly proprietor of the Blue )loon Cafe, in this city, appeared betore the Board, and stated that it is his intention to open a cabaret in two of the new storerooms in the Dyer Traot, on 3rd Avenue, and asked permission to conduct the business until 1100 a.m., each night. He stated that he would make nQ charge for dancing, and the permit was granted, rltYokable at any time, upon motion by tr. Scott, seconded by Tr. Wentworth, which carried. -./' SUBDIVISIONI ~e map of a subdivision, known as Harborside, which located within three miles of the city limits, was presented for approval. The Planning Commission having approved the map, upon motion by 111'. Scott, seconded by Tr. Barnes, it was approved by this Board, and the motion carried instruotions and directions that the proper officials sign same. '1he motion oarried, and the map was duly signed by the President of the Board and City Clerk, who attached the seal of the city thereto. J 6D'ER OUTFALL SYSTEMI A letter from Buma-JfcDonnell-Smith :lng. Co., oonsult- ing engineers in charge of the installation of this work, was read, in which it was stated that the outfall and treatment plant are oompletedacoording to specifioations, and recommended acceptance of same. Tr. Scott moved that the work and oompleted con- tract for the construction of the s..age disposal plant and outfall sewer havþing been completed and recommended for acceptance by Burns-McDonnell-Smith Engineering Company, supervi8ing engineers of said.. ark, and the same being satisfactory, such work and oom- pleted contract are hereby accepted with provision that final payment be withheld for thirty-five days. SEWER DISTRICT No. 11 A letter from Burns-McDonnell-Smith :angineering Compan;y, consulting engineers in charge of the installation of this work, was read, in which it was stated that *88 sewer district No. I, is completed according to speoificatioDt, and reco1DDended acceptance of same. Tr. Wentworth moved that Mr. H. H. SBWER PIPEI The purchasing agent was instructed 80 oonferwith the S..er Inspeo- tor and arrange to purchase such quantity ot s..er pipe as is necessary to start the work of oonneoting householders to the sewer system, when said system is re~ to re- oeive suoh connections. Bids having been received trom two manufacturers of this pro- duct, it was ordered to make the purchase from the Paoifio Clay Produots Compan;y, upon motion by Tr. scott, seconded by Tr. Scott oftered Resolution No. 190, whioh is a resolution directing the City Clerk to publish notice ot filing of bhe assessment roll, and set a date for hearing protests thereon. The Resolution was read, and was passed, adlpted and approved as reali, upon motion by Tr. Scott, seconded by Tr.
