fc~ issuing bonds and deedi,~ tide lands , in the above entitle project, Cl. Barnes
offered Resolution No. 290,Wwhioh is a resolution autheriaing submission to the
qualified electors of the City of Chula Vista, of a certain proposition to convey
tidelands. ~he resolution was read, and was adopted and aPl~oved, as read, by the
following vote, th-wit: A~: Cl. Hawkins, Barnes, Peters, Lyons. NO~: None.

wac placed on its fl~et reading. This is an c~dinanas providing for the hold-
ing of a special election, in the City of Chula Vista, and suh~itting to the qual-
ified voters of said city, certain propositions for the incur~ing of bonded indebt-
ednass for the construction of an addition to the city library building, and the
~mprovanant of certain tide lands.
~e clerk was instructed to publish two notices of election, to be held
Sept-~er ~, 1929, in the above entitled matter. ~hese notices to be published
twice in the Chula Vista Sta~, a loealW~.~s
paper.

that he had interviewed U-ears. E. B. Leash, F. H. Schraedor and O. B. Xen~all, and
that theas man state that the part of Center Street that is now p~oposed to he opened,
was used as a street f~w about 1907, to about 191~. ~e. Letter filed for future
reference,
