Meting called to order at 7:30 p.m. Present Mayor Peters, Cl. Lyons, Barnes. 01. Hawkins and Scott, absent. OouncilmR- Lyons moved, seconded by Cl. Barn~s, that the canva~l of the returns and votes of the special election, held in the 01ty of Chula Vista, California, on the 3rd day of September, 1929, to vote upon the proposition as to whether said city should incur a bonded indebtedness of $100,000.00 to improve certain tide lands in said city, and to vote upon the proposition as to whether said city should incur a bonded indebted- ness of $~5,000.00, for the construction of an addition to, and the reconstruction of a portion of the public library building, of said city, including the acquisition and construction of all necessary materials and appliances therefor, and to vote upon the proposition as to whether said city shall deed nertain tide lands to the United States of America, all as described in Ordinance No. 199, of said city, and Notice of Election, and declare the result thereof, be continued until Tuesday, the 10th day o2 September, 1929, at 7:30 o'clock P. M., of said day, at an adjourned regular meeting of the Board of Trustees and City Council of the City of Ohula Vista, 0alifornia, to be held at its regular meeting place in the 0ity Hall in said city.
