Located at 301 E Palomar Street. Environmental Notice: The Project qualifies for a Class 3 Categorical Exemption pursuant to Section 15303 (New Construction or Conversion of Small Structures) of the California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA') State Guidelines. Recommended Action: Conduct a public hearing and adopt a resolution approving Conditional Use Permit (CUP22-0048), based on findings and subject to conditions contained therein. October 11, 2023 Agenda Page 2 of 3 City of Chula Vista Planning Commission 5.2 Adoption of Citywide Objective Design Standards for Multi -Family Residential and Mixed -Use Projects To Comply 1lVith State Housing Laws. Environmental Notice: The Project qualifies for an Exemption pursuant to Section 15061(b)(3) of the California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA') State Guidelines. Therefore, pursuant to State Guidelines Section 15060(c)(3) no environmental review is required. Recommended Action: Conduct a public hearing and recommend to the City Council adoption of an ordinance to Chula Vista Municipal Code ("CVMC') Title 19 (Planning & Zoning), to add Section 19.58.460 (objective design standards for Multi -Family Residential and Mixed -Use projects). 6.
