The Council m~t in ~pecial Session in the 0ouncil Chamber of the
Oity Hall, at 2 o'clock PM., Members Presentt Councilmen Kaithley,
Riesl~.d, Ho~e, Burnside. Absent: Councilman Kidder.
Weld in compliance with a Notice of ~pecial Meeting executed by
the members of the City Council, ~ud on file in the office of the 0ity Clerk
prior to the meeting.
L~, -K,~G ~'Z~,:,, The clerk read a letter from the M.W.l~hodes Ocmpsmy,
in which they stated that if the City desired, multiple coin metex~, instead
of the Nicke~-Panny type, that they could supply same within ~o weeks, after
authorizatiOn from Washington, providing the city would formally order same.
~fter some discu~alon, upon m~tion by CounciLman Riceland, seconded by
Councilman Howe, w~ich carried, the city clerk was autho~imed to wire the
M.~ Ce~pany, formally exploring ~attiple Type ~ters in exchan~ for the
l~i~lz~l~ type now installe~ at no coat to the city. Also notify them
that the ~ea~Om fo~ thi~ request for exehan~, was due to the fact l~at when
the old council ordex~l the meters, they were ell under the impression that
it was the ~altiple Type Meter they were purchasing.
The new Council is not highly in favOr of Pa~king Meters, but is
desirous of ca_~rying out the w~hes of the old cc~ueil.

Railway Electric Company, &ppea~e~ before the Council, requesting permission

by Councilman Btu--aside, seconde~ by Councilmau Rieslaud, which carried, the
toqUes% was g~anted, p~ov~-g standard curhe were installed a~ at present,
and providing further that the railway cc~any su~eait a letter to the city,
stating that, in the event the bu~ tex~inal was abandoned at this intersection,
thee, if the city so desired, the ~ailwe~ Company would replace the curb to its
original position.

Eeithley, which ca. tied, the meeting was adjourned.
