The Council met in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, on the
above date, at 2.30 PoI~o, with D~ayor Howe presiding. Present: Council~.en
Ti~mons, Perkins, Burnside, Kidder, Howe. Absent: None.
ACCEPTANCE OF GLOVER STRoll': Mr. To=[0kige appeared befcme the
Council to request that the City accept the deeds to the e~c~ensipn of Glover
Street in Lot 8, Quarter Section 137. Also deeds for a fifteen (15) foot
alley in the same lot. The matter of the City grmdihg and oiling the
street was discussed at length, ~md it waS mowed by Councilmau Timmons;
seconded by Councilmau Burnside, and carried, with Council~n Perkins voting
"No", that the City accept the above mentioned street and alley, and grade
and oil same at the expense of the city.

Timmons offered~i~esoluticms Numbers 675, 67? to 682 Inclusive. These are
Resolutions aecepting deeds to portions of Lot 8, in Querter Section 137 for ~'
street and alley purpoees. The Resolutions were read in full mud ~re passed,
adoptei and approved by the following vote, to-wit: Ayes: Councilmen T~mmons,
Perkins, Burnside, Kidder, Howe. Noes: None: Absent: None.
RECREATION C0~&~SSION REQ~TEST: lfm.~aron Riesland appeared before
the Council with a tentative Budget for Recreational purposes, totaling
$35,568.00, of which amount the City Council waS requested to furnish $7,000.00,
chiefly for equipment, ~aintenanoe and park recreational facilities. Upon
motion by Councilman Kidder, seconded by Councilman Tizmaons, ~hich carried,
the City Attorney was authorized to draft a Resolution of Acceptance.
t~SOLUTION N0.683: LEASING OF TIDELAEBS TO DEFENSE PLANT CORP:
Councilma~ Burnside offered Resolution No.883. This is a Resolution
leasing loll acres of Tide ?~=ds to the Defense Plant Corporation for
industrial purposes. The Resolution was read in Iktll and was passed, adopted M
and approved by the following vote, to-wit: Ayes: Councilmen Burnside,
Kidder, Itowe, Timmons, Perkins. Noes: None: Absent: None.
ADJ0~fT:. Upon motion by Councilman Btumside, seconded by
Councilman Perkins, which carried, the meeting was adjourned sine die.
