COUNCIL, IN THE CITY OF CHULA V~B~A, CALIFOrnIA, HELD
The Council met in regular session in the Oouncil Chamber of the City
of Chula Vista, City W~l 1, on the above date, with M~yor Howe presiding. The
meeting waJ callSd to order at 7 o'clock P.M., Present: Council~u T~rmmons,
Howe, Perkins, EXdder, B~rnside. Absent: None.
The minutes of the meeting held November $, having been prepaid and
mailed, were approved aS prepared and m-~led.
The minutes of the meeting of the Planning Commission of December 8,

C-?,~,fornia,. Councilman Perkins offered Resolution No.665.
The Resolution was read in full, and was passed, adopted and approved
by the following vote-, to-wit: Ayes: Perkins, Burnside, Eidder, Howe, Tinm~ns.
Noes: None. Absent: None.
REQUEST FOR ~IG~: The clerk read a request frc~ Rev.
for permission to erect three (3) directional signs for the Baptist Church in
C~,,1~ Vista, a~l, on motion by Oouncilm~ Perkins, seconded by Councilman Timmons,
~hich carried, the request was granted.
SIGN ~AIP~ T~e clerk called the attention of the C~ancil to the
dilapidated state of an electric sign at National Avenue and "E" ~rset. This
neon sign having bean discar6ed du~ing the a~m-out, is badly in need of paint.
On motion by Council.~ Ttmmoms, seconded by Councilm~ EXdder, which carried,
the clerk was authorized to have the sign painted =~ repaired.

~alnut 3treet, for an overpass to be built by the Defemse Plant Corporation, and
to be built and owmed bY the Defense lml~nt Corporation. After complete dis-
cussion, the Council ~eed to sign the easement, provid~E certain specific
c~-~s were made in same. It wa~ mutually agreed by the Council ~ each
individual -~mher wou~ sign the easement after the proposed comctions wers
made, prov~6ing the Roh~ Airaraft ftt~nished a letter to the ef~ct that if,
during the life of the easement, it~T~came necessary to remove the overpass, and
~hile still owne~ by the Defense Plant ¢orporetion or the Rohr Aircraft Oorporation,
the ~hr Aircraft Corporatiom would ~-dazantee its removal at no cost to the city.
This was incorporated in a motion made by Council~- Burnside, seconded by
Council,.aa Ttww.ons, and subsequently carried.
