CHANGE OF BUDGET YEAR: On motion by Oouncilw~ P~rkins,
seconded by Councilman Ttww~ns, which carried, the clerk wa~ authorized
to change the dates of our Budget Yee~ to conform with the Fiscal Yeart
namely, tuly 1st to Ju~e 3Otb.
ST~ C(~1~: The clerk read a letter from M~. 0sca~
Weissgerber, in which he complained of the condition of the pavement meat
the tracks of the San Diego & Arizona Railway at Third Avenue and ~K"
Street particularly. The clerk ~s authorized to transmit this letter,
together with a request that the condition be rectified, to Mr. Eichenlaub
of the 8an Diego & Arizona Railwa~ in San Die~.
The Federal Government, through the Federal Public Housing
Aut~ity of San Frencisco, having requested pex~mission to connect two
projects with the sewer - one at the Southwest corner of "H" Street and
Fourth Avenue, amd the other on the No~'thws.$ cermet of National Avenue ~
and "F" Street, amd it having been stated in their letter ttmt the Oit~
would receive from the project a payment in lieu of ta~es, after a short
discussion it was moved by 0ouncilm-n Perkins, seconded by Co~ncilra~n
T~w..o~s, and carriedm that the request be granted and that the clerk so
notify the Federal Public Housing Authority.
