M. ~esent: ~1 m~bers. ~e ~nutes of the regul~ meeting held J~ua~ 1E, 19~2 having been prepared ~d ~iled to each ~mber of this Co~cil were app~ved as prepared and ~iled. ~e ~Enutes of the PlYing Ce~ssion held Feb~ 2. 1942 were read by the clerk ~d upon ~tion by Cl. ~pree, seconded by Cl. ~ns, which ca~ied, were approved as read. Referring to the pe~lt requested by the Chula Vista Citrus Asso- clarion, it was moved by Cl. ~rkins, seconded by Ct. ~nside ~d carried that this pe~t be grated as ~ emergen~ ~tter ~d that s&~e should be considered temper- a~ to be c~celled at the e~iration of the emergency. ~is has to do with the housing of Orient~ l~en pickers in a building adjacent to the packing house ~d prep~red for sleeping q~rters. ~Sh~,/~?J~: ~. Moeser appe~ed before the co~cil to ask the City to accept a deed for the alley in the re~ of the Post Office and ina~uch as t~ ~ading and s~faci~ at tl~s time does not meet the City's requir~aents ~. DIoeser stated that he was ~lli~ to deposit with the city clerk a check for $50.00 to ~tee the perfo~ce of the necess~ ~ading. Upon motion by Cl. ~pree, · seconded by Cl. Bu~side, which c~ried, the check was accepted and Cl. Perki~ offered Resolution i~o. 6.2~, accepting the ~eser property for street p~poses. ~e ~solu- tion was read in ~ll ~d ~ passed, adopted ~d approved by the ~o~owing vote, to-wit: ~es: C~en. Upon motion by Cl. ~pree, seconded by Cl. ~side and c~ried the ~or ~d the City Attorney were authorized to draft a letter to the Gr~d J~ asking for a con- ference with the ~yors of the various loc~ cities ~d members of the Gr~d J~ to discuss l~rther the ~tter of adopting ~ ordinance b~ing the machines in question. ?~OL~ION N0. 632: Cl.
