The City Attorney in reporting on matters referred to hi~ for investigation advised that the request of five property owners on Alma Street for permission to buy into the sewer district could not be granted as such; that per- m/scion may be granted to connect to the present sewer syste~ and upon motion by Cl. Dupres, seconded by Cl. Paxton, which carried, the council granted permission to the petitioners to comueet to the present sewer syste~ at their own expense by private contract.
