Minutes of a Special Meeting of the. City Council, held ~e~ 16, 1940.
.k~ POLICE C~'~LR: Cl. Paxton again brought to the attention of the Council the
need for the purchase of a new car for the Police Department. He submitted figures
on the cost of maintenance of the present Chevrolet prowl car for the Council's
consideration whereupon the clerk was ordered to draft in detail the present st~uding
and yearly expenditures of the Police Department and present at the next meeting be-
fore a decision would be made.
