The Council mat in special session, in the usual place of holding meetings,
in the City Hall, on the above shown date, with Mayor Done presiding. The meeting
was called to order at 9 $'clock Ac M. Present: Mayor Done, Clmen. Howe,
Ttrm~ons mud Bro~, Absent: Clo Bryant. This meeting was held in compliance with a
call for a special meeting issued by the Mayor, and waiver of notice thereof and
executed by each of the Councilmen prior thereto, which is as follows:

We the undersigned members of the City Counci~ of the City
of Chula Vista, California, hereby consent to a special
meeting of the City Council of the City of Chula Vista,
California, to be held in the Council Cba~.ber of the City
Hall of said City at 9 A. M. June 21, 1939 for the purpose
of considering ~nd taking such action as said Council may
decide upon the proposed agreement or assignment of relief
workers by and between the S. R. A. and the State of
California aud said City for the fiscal year 1940.

authorizing and directing the execution of a contract with the State Relief ~m~uistration
of the State of California. The Resolution was read and was passed and adopted as read
by the following vote, to-wit: Ayes. Clmen. Brown, Done, Howe and Tin,nons. Noes: None.
