They enforce municipal ordinances, provide customer service, manage park reservations, lock and unlock gates, and clean park restrooms. Rangers also play a pivotal part of the Homeless Outreach Team. Park Ranger hours of operation are 5:00 a.m. –12:00 a.m. •Cleaning park restrooms (43 daily) •Locking and unlocking gates (74 twice daily) •Managing park reservations (1756 annual) •24 hour notices posted (1,100 annual) •Rolls of toilet paper changed (28,500 annual) •3 FTE / 27 Hourly Page 14 of 57 City of Chula Vista City Council May 4, 2023 Post Workshop Agenda Roadway Management The Street Maintenance Division is responsible for the maintenance and repair of more than 455 center lane miles of improvements within the City’s rights-of- way, including pavement, signing and striping, street trees and sidewalks.
