PAVING S~TS UNDER PWA; In eeder to avoid the expense of sondusting a regular
election on thia project, upon notion by 01. R~ogn, seconded by ~1. Lyons, whish on~-
tied, the ~uncil decided to hold a mass meeting to aeeertain the opinion of tho ~oters
of the sity, on Sept. 16, 19~4~ and if opinion appea~e to favor the project, to hold mi
straw vote on the subject on Sept. 22, 1934. If it ia found that there ie no probable
ah--ce of putting over a bond issue for this purpose, the project will be abandoned.
