This, in aeoordanee with paragraph 12, of the eontrant under whieh the work ia bein~ proeeanted. Copy of a letter fx-~a the eity attorney to the Low Angeles office of PWA., a tel- egram f~c~ t~at allies, and the engineer's letter to the same offiee givin~ date for an in~rease in the grant, together with a letter fr-w the city attorney to the San Fran- wises offiae of PWA., were all approved upon motion by Cl. Ho~e voting No. PAVING ~ ~PA.; The city attorney reported the result of a conference he had with the offialals of ~PA., in San Diego, wherein it ia thought that the shoulders of all e~n-ip pave~--.nt could be oiled, aa well aa oiling unpaved et~eete~ with ~PA funds.
