The City Council met in the Council Chambers of the City Hall on the above
date, with Mayor pro-tern Riesland presiding~ The meeting was called to order
at 7 o'clock P.M., Present: Councilmen Riesland, Nashold, Dysc~, Kidder.
Absent: C~unci~ Eoestero
RESOLUTION N0o782: ~-cil..-n Kidder offered Resolution No.782.
This is a Resolution of Ooncarrence in Master Airport Plan.
The Pmsolution was read in full and was passed, adopted and approved by the
following vote, to-wit: Ayes: Kidder, Riesland, Nashold, Dyson. Noes: None.
Absent: Councilw~n Koester.
QUIT ~ 1,~=,,: 0n motion by COUnCil'"AB Kidder, seconded by Councllmsn Nashold,
which carried, Mayo~ pro-tern Riesland and City Clerk Bryant, were authorized to
execute a Quit Claim Deed to the Southerly Half of Lots 26 and 27, Chula Vista
Realty C~peny's Subdivisioa No.2, to Fred Welter, a single man, as delinquent
taxes on the above described property haw been paid in fullo
~JROHASE OF TRUOK L0~ll~.R: On motion by Councilm~ Dyson, seconded by ~ouncilmAn
Naahold, which carried, the city clerk was ~Atherized to purchase a Butler
Truck Loader, at a price not to exceed $2A00.00o
RESOLUTION N0o7~3: ~ouncilm.. Kidder offered ~solution No.783. This is a
Resolution authorizing the Mayor pro-tern smd the City Clerk to execute an
application to the State of Califor~ia Board of Public Health for permission
construct and operate an addition to the present Sewa~ Disposal Plant.
The Resolution was re~i in i~ll, a~d ~s passed, edopted and ~pproved by the
following vote, to-wit: Ayes: Councilmen Kidder, Riesland, Nashold, Dyson.
Noes: None. Absemt: Councilman Koestero
S~I~ES PASE SEW~: City Clerk requested permission from the council to p~csed
with the preliminary work necessary toward forming an assessment district for
the installation of seware in Smailes Park; a portion of Flower Street, and a
portion of "F" Street°
Upon motion by Councilman Kidder, secomded by Councilm-~ Dyacn, which carried,
the clerk was authorized to proceed.
ACQ~IISITION OF TIDEI~: City Clerk explained to council that Administration
officer Dickson of National City, had ee~.~ed with Assemblym~u Cr~aer ~nd other
legislators at Sacrsm~mto relative to legislation by which the 0ity of National
City would acquire the northerly half e~d the City of Chula Vista the southerly
half of that portion of tideland~ lying between the southerly limits of National
City and the Northerly limits of Chula Vista.
He asked, whether or not, City Council of the Oity of Chula Vista, concurred
in this action, and, if so, would they authorize him to correspond with Mr.
Cram~r and convey to him their spprovalo On motion by Councilman Kidder,
seconded by Councilman Nashold, which carried, the clerk was so a~thorized.
ORDINANCE NO. 374: On motion by Oounci~-~ Dyson, seconded by Counci~n
Riesland, which carried, Ordinance No.374 was placed on its second reading.
The Ord~n.nce was passed, adopted and approved by the following vote, to-wit:

Councilman Koester.
