OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA. CALIFORNIA. HEr~ APRIL 27, 1947.
The City Council met in the Council Chambers of the City Hall on the above date,
with Mayor Koester presiding. The meeting was called to order at 7 o'clock
P.M. Present: Councilmen Koester, Nashold, Dyson, Kidder, Riceland.
Absent: None. City Clerk Bryant, absent.
ORDINANCE NO.377: This Ordinance which provides for the regulation
of the Subdivision of land for the dedication of Streets, and for the approval
of maps thereof, of the City of Chula Vista, having been approved by the Planning
Commtssion, after Public Hearings, were hwld, a~ due notice by publication in
the Chula Vista Star having been given that a public hearing would be held by
the City Council on April 27, 19A7 at 7 olclock P.M.,and there being no one
present to object, after discussion, it was moved by Councilman Riesland,
seconded by Councilman Kidder, and carried, that the Ordinance No.377 be placed
on its first reading.
The Ordinance was read in ~]] by City Attorney Higgs.
COURT CLA~K: It was moved by Councilman Koester, seconded by Councdlman
Nashold, and carried, that the city administrative officer be authorized and
directed to employ, subject to the approval of the City Council, a clerk to act
as clerk of the city court and to perform such other duties as may be shown by
the city council or city adm~Astrattve officer, and the salary should be
fixed by the city council. The motion carried by the following vote, to-wit:
Ayes: Councilmen Koester, Nashold, Dyson, Kidder,Riesland. Noes: None.
Absent: None.
ST.JOHN~S CHURCH SIGN: St.John~s Episcopal Church of the City of Chula Vista,
havinSrequeeted permission from the city council to erect a directional sign
it was moved by Councilman Kidder, seconded by Councilman Dyson, and carried,
that the matter be referred to the Chief of Police,
ADJOURNMENT:
Upon motion by Councilman Nasho~d, seconded by Councilman Kidder, and
carried, the meeting was adjourned sine die.
