The Council met in the Council Chambers of the City Hall on the above date, at ? oTclock PoMo, with the following members present: Councilmen Nashold, Dyson, Kidder, Koester, Rieslando Absent. None. ~RESOLUTION NO~877. Councilman Koester offered Resolution No.8~Te This is a Resolution awarding contract for construction of Trunk Sewers on a Unit price basis. The Re~olution ~as read in full a_~d was passed, adopted and anproved by. the fo~.lowing~Tvote, to-wit: Ayes: Councilmen Koester, Riesland, Nashold, Dyson, KiHdero ~oes: ~one. Absent: None~ ~ RESOLUTION NOES78: Councilman Riesland offered Resolution Noo878o This is a Resolution awarding contract for construction of Sewer Treatment Plant. The Resolution was read in full and was passed, adopted and approved by the following vote, to-w~t. Ayes: Councilmen Riesland, Nashold, Dyson, Kidder, Koester. Noes: None. Absent: None. Inasmuch as contract provide~ that the contractor accept within five (5) days from notification, it was moved by Councilman Nashold, seconded by Councilman Dyson, and carried, that this five (5) days be extended to on or before May 8, 19~8. ~R~solution No.879. offered Resolution No.879o This is a Resolution Councilman Kidder Q~itcla~m~ng certain land to Floodberg for payment of delinquent taxes. The Resolution was read in ftulland was passed, adopted and approved by the following vote, to-wit: Ayes: Councilmen Kidder, Koester, Riesland, Nashold, Dyson. Noes: None. Absent: None. ~BALL PARK LIGHTING - EucaLvotms Park. After discussion it ~s moved by Counc~lm~n Riesland, seconded by Councilman Nashold, and carried~ that the wiring and installation of lights at the Ball grounds at Eucalyptus Park be authorized providing cost does not exceed $1000~00. This is for wiring and inst~]]ation of lights furnished by Rohr Aircraft. PARK BENCHES LOANh~: It was moved by Councilman Kidder, seconded by Councilman Dyson, and ca~ed~ that Superintendent of Streets Love, be authorized to deliver a number of park benches to Sweetwater Lake for the water celebration to be held there May 5, 1948~ ~ATh~ METER IN "F" STREET BALL PARK: It was moved by Councilman Nashold, seconded by ouncilman Riesland, and carried, that authorization be granted for the installation of a water meter to be installed on "F" Street adjacent to the Ball Park for use in wetting down the grounds and washing off the bleachers. JUDICIAL QUESTIONNAIRE: City Attorney Boyer advised that he had studied the Judicial questionnaire referred to him and recommended certain answers, Mhereupon it was moved by Councilman Nashold~ seconded by Councilman Riesland, amd carried, that the Mayor be authorized to answer the questionnaire along the lines suggested by ~.
