This was placed upon it's first reading upon motion by Councilman Dyson, seconded by Councilman Kidder, 8nd carried. ORDIEAN~'E No. 397 Authorizing the I,,~ayor to execute an agreement ~th the State of California for participa ion in the State Employee's Retirement System° This was placed on it's first reading upon motion by Councilman Riesland, seconded by Councilman Nashold, and carried. RESOLUTION NCo 949 Approving Agreement between the City of Chula Vista and ~rrill & Solomon. For entry onto a portion of City owned tide-lands o This was offered by Councilman Nashold, read in full, passed, adopted and approved by the following vote to-wit: Ayest Councilmen Nashold, Dyson, I~dder, Koester, Riesland Noes: None Absent: None STREET LIL~'IS ~,~o Bryant read a letter to the Council from the San Diego Gas & Electric Company requesting authority to change over and install certain street lights which had previously been agreed upon verbally° It was moved by Councilman Kidder, seconded by Councilman Rieslend, and carried that 5~o Bryant be instructed to v~ite a letter of authorization. RESOLLF~ION No. 952 Authorizing the ~yor and City Clerk to sign a Freeway Agreement with the Division of Highways of the State of Califorui~. This was offered by Councilman Kidder, read in full, passed, ~dopted and approved by the following vote to-wit: Ayes: Councilmen Kidder, Koester, Riesland, Nashold, Dyson Noes: No~e Absent: None SOUTH BAY IRRIGATION DISTRICT The Clerk read a letter from I~r. A1 ?oulter of the California Water and Telephone Oompany urging imr~ediate action on the formation of the South Bay Irrigation District° After a short discussion, the letter was ordered filed° ~,~RESOLUTION 960 Accepting an alley from ~,~. Kuebler. This was offered by Councilman Nashold, read in full, passed, ~dopted, and approved by the following vote to-wit: Ayes: Councilmen Nashold, ~-son, Kidder, Koester, Riesland Noes: None Absent: kTone BITZM PAID Warraz~ts No° l~7to 1S~ with bills attached were reviewed by the entire Council, passed by the finance Co~ittee and ordered paid by the following vote to-wit: Ayes: CounciLmen Riesland, Nashold, Dyson, Kidder, Koester Noes: None Absent: None ItESOLUTI~ 953 to 959, inclusive Accepting Easements for Sewer purposes. These were offered by Councilman Kidder° The Resolutions were all of the same form e_ud authorized acceptance of Easements from the following parties: ~,~. Lippy, Smith, Smith, Smith, Green, Offerman, 0fferman, respectively.
