Lyons. which cam'tied, the purchase of a Burroughs A~dAng machine was authorized. AN AIRPORT PLAN: The City Engineer p~eSented a plan of an airport which he had worked up, to the Council, The Plan was such that it included pa_~ts of land of three different property o~aers and extended back to the vicinity of the railroad and out some distance into the b~Y. The COst Of Said airPor~ WOUl~ approximately be ~60,000.00 The ~ineer had contacted representatives of staid Property 0,=ere$ and the pOSsibility of said p~an be?~.~ accepted was fair~ if not exactly as pl~n~ed it could be revised to the satiSfactiOn of ail concerned. Mr. 0l~tead pointed out the advantage that ou~ 0ity ha~ Ove~ National City in that their work on dredging the bay Was under ~overmaent project and therefore mUch' slower, 'whereas our project Could be rushed Could be rushed to co~q~letiOn mu0h qUiCker. Mr. D.
