M. with the following members present: Councilmen Riesland, Nashold, and Dyson. Absent: Councilmen Koester and Kidder. MAYOR PRO T~/PORE It was moved by Council~,-n Eashold, seconded by Councilman Dyson, and carried, that COuncilmaU ~/ieslend be appointed Mayor pro tempore to serve during the absence of Mayor Eoester. I~F. SOI~TION NO. 1042 - Accepting Improvements in Te~,m~eh Park. Cou~cil~.An Nashold offered Resolution No. 1042 which was read in full, passed, adopted, and approved by the following vote, to-wit: AYES: Councilmen Nashold, Dyson, Riesland. NOES: None. A~SENT: Councilmen Koester, Kidder. ~RESOLUTION NO. - Approving agreement P.E. 1043 with Counci~.~u Riesland offered Resolution No. 1043 which was read in full, passed, adopted, and approved by the following vote, to-wit: AYES: Councilmen Riasland, Nashold, Dyson. NOES: None. ARabsaT: Couneilmen Koester, Kidder. TRANS~m~ OF FUEES Councll~n .Nashold stated that inasmuch as it was the intention of the Council to proceed with the canstruction of a new City Hall with funds on hand and there now exists surplus funds in excess of the amount of $50,000.00, he moved that the sum of $50,000.00 be transferred from surplus funds to capital outlay funds to be used in the construction of a new City Hall. The motion was seconded by Council~A~ Dyson and carried. HAR'DLEY BOND Mr. Handley, having completed the improvements as agreed upon in his recard of survey of a portion of quarter Section 136, with the exception of the oiling or the Streets, and he having given a check to the City in an amount sufficient to pay for the oiling, it was moved by Councll-~n Dyson, seconded by Council,~u Nashold, and carried, that the Clerk be authorized to release the bond which Mr. Handley had posted. ]~A~0QUISITION OF RI~PIT OF WAY FOR WOODLAWE A~]E The City Council having agreed with the Division of Highways to acquire the right of way for the extension of Woodlawn Avenue between 'E" and "F" Streets, and the ap- pr~al by Mr. Ed Mueller having been acquired, it was moved by Council~n l)yson, seconded by Oouncil~n Riesland, and carried, that the Administrator be authorized to negotiate for the purchase of four parcels involved in this right of way for prices not to exceed the following.
