OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CHULA VISTA, CALIFORNIA
Held June 7, 1950
The Council met in the Council Chambers at ? o'clock P.M. on the above date with
the following members present: Councilmen Kidder, Riesland, Logan, and DeWolfe.
Absent: Councilman Nashold.
BOOTH AT COUNTY FAIR*
Mr. walter Davis, Secretary to the Chamber of Commerce advised the Council that
he had obtained a bid of $600.00 from the Lavins Company of 4215 Pacific Highway, San
Diego, California, for the installation and demolition of a Chula Vista exhibit at
the County Fair. Mr. Davis told the Council that in order to be Judged for the con-
test, the booth would have to be installed and in operation by the 28th of June. It
was moved by Councilman DeWolfe, seconded by Councilman Riesland, and carried, that
Mr. Davis be instructed to proceed with the plan presented to the Council under the
terms of the exietin~ Contract between the City and the Chamber of Commerce.

following vote, to-wits
AYESI Councilmen Riesland, Logan, DeWolfe, Kidder.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Nashold.
LETTER OF R~SIGNATION - Counc~lm~n D. Nashold.
The City ~Mmtnistrator read a letter of resignation from Councilman Nashold to be
effective May 26, 1950. It was moved by Councilman Rieeland, seconded by Counc~lm~n
Kidder, and carried, that the resignation be accepted, and that the Council declare a
vacancy on the Council exists.
ESOLUTION NO. 1133 - Approving agreement with the California Water & Telephone Company
~ and authorizing the Mayor to sign same.
Offered by Councilman DeWolfe, read in full, passed, adopted, and approved by the
following vote, to-wit:
AYES: Counci!m-n DeWolfe, Kidder, Riesland, Logan.
NOES: Nons.
ABSENT: None.
AUDIT OF BOOKS
It was moved by Councilman Logan, seconded by Councilman Riesland, and carried,
that the firm of Kogler and Collura be employed to audit the books for the fiscal year
1949-1950 at a cost not to exceed $950.00.
BUDGET
The City Administrator presented the proposed budget to the Council.

that the meeting adjourn sine die.
