~' THE cITY COUNCIL OF THE CIT~ OF
CHUIA VISTA, CALIFORNIA
Held June 20, 1950.
The Council met in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 7:00 o'clock P.M.
on the above date with the. following members present: Councilmen Kidder, Riesland,
Logan, DeWolfe. Absent: None.
~RESOLUTION NO. 1138 - Approving Contract Documents - Bay Manor Sewer.
Offered by Councilman Riesland, read in full, passed, adopted, and approved by
the following vote, to-wit:
AYES: Councilmen Riesland, Logan, DeWolfe, Kidder.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
RESOLUTION NO. 1139 - Approving notice for further bids on Sale of the City Hall.
Offered by Councilman Logan, read in full, passed, adopted, and approved by
the following vote, to-wit:
AYES: Councilmen Logan, DeWolfe, Kidder, Rie$1and.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
VISTA SAN MIGUEL - Final Map.
It was moved by Councilman Riesland, seconded by Councilm~n Logan, and carried,
that the final map and improvement plans of Vista San Miguel Subdivision be accepted
upon the execution by the Owner of a contract with the City of Chula Vista for the
installation of improvements and the posting of a bond guaranteeing the performance
thereof which contract and bond shall be first approved by the City Attorney as to
form and legality.
MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS - 1911 Act Sewer Assessment.
Messers Nation, Sarma, and Hathaway appeared before tbs Council to discuss an
exte~ion of the sewer West of Madison Avenue on Chula Vista Street, as their pro-
perry along that street has no access to the sewer. After discussion, the City
Engineer and property owners were directed prepare plans and specifications for the
extension of this line.
BUDGET
This being the time and place as advertised for a public hearing on the Budget
for the fiscal year 1950-1951, the City Administrator presented the proposed budget
to the Council and the Council then proceeded to review same. No protests were
made wi+~__r orally or in writing.
ADJOURNMENT
It was moved by Council~m~ Riesland, seconded by Councilman DeWolfe, and carried,
that the meeting adjourn to 7:00 o'clock P.M. June 21, 1950.
