HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2022-245 DocuSign Envelope ID: E36F6539-70CD-45CE-A082-ODC86F622BEE RESOLUTION NO. 2022-245 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA APPROVING THE REVISED FISCAL YEAR 2022/23 COMPENSATION SCHEDULE EFFECTIVE NOVEMBER 18,2022,AS REQUIRED BY CALIFORNIA CODE OF REGULATIONS, TITLE 2, SECTION 570.5 WHEREAS, California Code of Regulations, Title 2, Section 570.5 requires that, for purposes of determining a retiring employee's pension allowance, the pay rate be limited to the amount listed on a pay schedule that meets certain requirements, including approval by the City's governing body in accordance with the requirements of applicable public meeting laws; and WHEREAS, the Fiscal Year 2022/23 Compensation Schedule (Compensation Schedule) was approved by the City Council at its meeting on October 18, 2022; and WHEREAS, any changes including but not limited to, across-the-board increases, classification changes, and salary adjustments, approved subsequent to the date of approval, must be reflected on a revised Compensation Schedule and submitted to the City Council for approval; and WHEREAS, City staff has recommended the following position changes, necessitating amendment to the Fiscal Year 2022/23 Compensation Schedule: (1) the addition of the Fleet Supervisor, Homeless Solutions Manager, Director of Housing and Homeless Services, Housing Manager, FA Supervisory Intelligence Analyst I and FA Supervisory Intelligence Analyst II position titles; (2) the deletion of the FA Supervisory Intelligence Analyst, Housing Manager (Unclassified), and Operations and Telecommunications Manager position titles; and (3) the updated salaries for Application Support Manager, City Clerk Analyst, and Senior Procurement Specialist. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chula Vista, that it hereby does adopt, as required by California Code of Regulations Title 2, Section 570.5, the revised Fiscal Year 2022/23 Compensation Schedule effective November 18, 2022, in the form presented, a copy of which is available in the City Clerk's Office, that reflects: (1) the addition of the Fleet Supervisor, Homeless Solutions Manager, Director of Housing and Homeless Services, Housing Manager,FA Supervisory Intelligence Analyst I and FA Supervisory Intelligence Analyst II position titles; (2) the deletion of the FA Supervisory Intelligence Analyst, Housing Manager (Unclassified), and Operations and Telecommunications Manager position titles; and (3) the updated salaries for Application Support Manager, City Clerk Analyst, and Senior Procurement Specialist.
